Quaker parrots

Quaker parrots (Myiopsitta monachus) are naturally found in South America, where they build massive family nests in trees. In many other countries, this is an introduced species and can be quite a nuisance! As a pet, it can make a great choice. Although quakers are sometimes known as being aloof, loud and even bitey, it should be possible to resolve any issues through lots of training and contact.
